knowing the year would help. older trucks did not have computer. if it is a carb motor, it will swap. fuel injection, gonna have some work to be done.

my thoughts exactly, switching from carb. to injection (vise versa) can be done, but it would take a lot more time and effort... if they're both fuel injected or both carb. motors then it shouldnt be a problem... if they both have computers, you're gonna wanna keep the 351 computer with the 351 motor

The 351w and 302(non HO) have a different firing order. The HO 302 has the same firing order as a 351w(13726548). You didnt say what year the trucks were. If they are both fuel injected you will have to keep the 351 computer w/ the 351. If the 351 is carburated you can get a 351w EFI intake and switch to a 1987-88 mustang 5.0 computer if you are planning on using speed density. If it is mass air already you can use an 89-93 mustang computer w/ the 351w(A9p,A9L, etc.). Also if the 351 is carburated you will have to get a TFI distributor out of a 351 EFI. sorry if it sounds confusing. Everything else will bolt up. The exhaust might need to be slightly modified due to the 351 being a few inches taller.:huh
