I just bought some Eagle Xtreme XP hockey gloves off of ebay and the idiot that sold them to me put Toe Pro all over the gloves (its like an adhesive that is black that you put on the toe of your skate when it wears out to protect your foot). I was able to peel some of it off but a lot of it wont. It seems like some of it actually stained the material on the gloves. Does anyone have any idea of how to remove this garbage? I tried paint thinner and finger nail polish but it isnt doing the trick either.

Yeah but will it harm the gloves?

brake kleen

but after you get the goo off, wash the gloves really good because the brake kleen will burn your skin with prolonged exposure.

Removing adhesives are sticky situations :p One time I got a small container of glue that can only be described as dangerous. I was glueing popcicle sticks together and ended up glueing my thumb to my middle finger. Luckily it came with a remover. Don't mess with supersuper glue.

I found something that worked great. A pressure washer! It removed everything like a charm and it cleaned my gloves up really nice as well.
