cool home remedy exhaust sound!!!!!

if you really want that cool sound on your atv but dont want to spend a couple of hundred bucks.....just take off the end cap and spark arrestor. Its fine as long as you dont ride in the woods with it.

All bashing aside, i used to do that on my old 250ex, when i was 13.

4-5 years later i know that this will most likely make your quad run worse and sound bad. Spend the 200 dollars on a slip on instead.

o well....its not ment for the rich kids who can afford a nice 500 dollar pipe. Its for the average rider who wants there atv to sound nicer. I have a nice pipe on mine, this was just a tip for people who want a sound without the money. If you think its stupid or childish, dont do it.:scary:

i think it sounds better that way. but still wasnt loud enough for me so i did this to my stock 400ex pipe. i dont run this pipe no more though. ill sell you it for 15 shipped if you want it.

i think all stock pipes sound bad. but still think they sound better no spark arrestor. it wouldnt make the quad runn worse at less it needed t o be jetted. it would actuly runn cooler. the stock pipe dont flow fast enough and makes the motor run hotter.

Congratulations on making the loudest, ugliest and most ridiculous pipe in the world. I bet it smelled great when the duct tape holding the endcap on got hot. Good thing you aren't using it anymore.

They sound like theyre making bubbles when they idle. Everybodies takin the end cap/ arrester off at some point, but never after you get you first slip-on. I can never take anybody who pulls their end cap to seriously though.:ermm:

o yeah. i just sent a check on a yz426 motor. reason i dont use the muffler no more is cause ill be runnung a white bros system.
