fmf megamax exhaust

i was planning on getting an fmf megamax exhaust for my 2006 trx250ex. I usually ride on trails but sometimes go to travis pastranas to race around. Do you think this would be a good exhasut choice?

Nope. I have an FMF megamax exhaust and I don't like it. I just bought a White Brothers to replace it. I don't like the sound on the FMF nor did it seem like I had any top end. It seemed like it completely cut out at the top end. When I get the White Brothers installed (hopefully this weekend), I will post you on how I like it.

That isn't the pipe. You are not jetted correctly.

I ran a FMF Performax (same pipe, just had a smaller cannister) for like 2 years on my 300ex. It was a great pipe. Liked it much better than the DG's. However, it is no Sparks.

It's not a bad pipe by any stretch.. but there are many many other pipes, I'd reccomend above it.

I'd agree though that he would get a much better bang for his buck out of an HMF, White Bros, etc.

i heard a FMF Megamax pipe on a 250ex, i was not impressed.

i have a T-4, i like it alot, even 4 years after purchasing it. i would recommend it.

i only really had 3 options, a big gun, an fmf , or the t4. I ordered the big gun but it was on backorder so i got this insted.

so after getting 3 people that recommended other exhausts, you bought it anyways? :huh
