Ok so here is the scoop

i read the tread on the custom air intake
bought a pvc pipe and a K&N filter outa a 400 ex and jetted as they had said in the tread

i get to 2nd or 3rd mid throttle and the thing starts to bog out

so i lean it out still same thing
so i lean it out more same thing

well im not gonna lean it out anymore so i go richer and still get the same thing

so i try a smaller jet 175 and ran to a 155

cant seem to get this to work on my predator
mind you i live in alberta canada so the jetting could be way way off

my next problem is the 2 plastic clear tubes on the side of the carb
one is a drain that goes to the bottom of the quad and on the other side i got one that has a white plastic inset with an arrow and for the life of me i dont know were it goes
could some one look on there quad and see were this thing goes

and if you have any info on what i might be doing wrong with the intake please feel free to GIVE ME HELP!!!
thanks

What is your temp, elevations, mods to the bike, and current jetting setup?

If it is bogging on mid throttle, that means needle. With that setup, try moving the needle up, to the rich, 1 notch. 180 MJ, 50 PJ and 3 turns out on the air/fuel screw.

ok

mods i have that would be involved with engine
is a k&n Filter and a DG Slip on pipe

temp is about 23'C here on average right now
elevation would be about 6000ft

took jetting out for now till i find out whats going on

2'' intake with k&n filter sitting in air box

need to know were that hose goes

when i start the bike now its excessive high idle and cant shake it

That hose you are inquiring about is a drain hose, for if the bike is ever on its top, that is where the fuel will drain from. You can just let that hose dangle.

I say you try what I stated.

180 MJ (kiehn jet, not dynojet)
4th clip down on the needle
50 PJ
2 1/2 - 2 3/4 turns out on the air/fuel screw

Start there and see how it runs.

ok cool

mabey my prob it the dynojet kit i bought

cause each jet is gonna be diff from each supplier or are you just saying that dynojet is crap?
