Should be IIRC 125 psi.

depends on altitude, dome, etc...

Should be 125 psi MINIMUM anything lower and you've got problems. Although the maximum you'll probably ever see will be about 150 and thats with lots of mods.

I've herd 120-125, mines 195ish and both cylinders are the same psi, I was in shock they are usually couple psi off.

When you test it, make sure your throttle is wide open or you wont get a correct reading.

Max 150 with lots of mods?

Mine is at 195. I rebuild it at 150.

Lots of mods is an underatatement though. I have the full Paul Turner Eliminator kit from Duncan. Same motor they use in PDV, except I run the midrange pipes, not the high rev.

its about 110 in each but I didnt know the full throttle thing.
Ill check again
It dont start too well after it has sit for a while, thats what lead me to think it may be about time.
This thing screams and if its about ready for a top end........
wow how much will it increase performance?
is there anyone who sells just the rings ?
the pistons or modded with some crazy large boost ports
I need to mic it and see where its at.
thanks alot for the help

ACTUALLY with a STOCK banshee motor, which is what he is obviously talkin about a normal compression range would be around 125. With a fresh topend you may hit 130 psi. And I've never seen a banshee hit 195, almost hard to believe. Remember, he's askin for STOCK compression, thanks.

Last banshee motor I had: 210 psi with alot of motor work, and 18cc domes in the pro design cool head.

not to get off the subject but I had a highschool friend that had an 87 shee that ran at 90psi in both cylinders, I know this is low as hell but that machine ran like a champ and would smoke the hell out of other banshees in the town. I beat my new stock 92 see till I put on some toomeys and got the single carb kit. Then I had no competition. I should have never sold that machine now I have a j-arm frame : (

90 wouldn't be hard to beleive if it was ported with a stock head. Would scream on top too.

My 195 is with a whole list of motor work.

No where close to stock
