hard to find 400EX Parts for sale.

I have the following items for sale. All items are off of a 2002 400EX that has been modded. No
part were replaced due to failure.. just for upgrades. Everythig is in great shape unless noted.
Please let me know if you're interested. I am happy to clean, disassemble, grease, bead-blast, etc..
any part you buy at your request. Pictures of any item happily furnished at your request. ALL OFFERS ENTERTAINED!!

2002 400ex stock carb. $100 in perfect condition, Choke still in place, never been taken apart (Just jets changed), it has little Oklahoma red clay staining on the outside, but no biggie. Drained of fuel before storage, no gum buildup. Ready to bolt on and go. Carb has a 158 main in it at the moment, but I have the following jets I am happy to rejet it for free before sending it out. (ONE JET ONLY. I'M NOT SENDING THEM ALL!!) if you want it replaced, please let me know.

Pro Design (I think) billet chain guard. JUST the guard. There is no outer housing (this is how it's sold). Guard has been installed but (thankfully) never been used. Minor grooving on the bottom from chain rub, but thats it. Doesn't include little spacers or bolts, but those can be had at just about any Lowes. $9.00 Again, happy to supply pics on request.


1. Stock Piston, Mics to 3.325 inches. Has about 100 hours on it, replace with 416 piston. Wrist pin
included but no clips. Rings have BEEN REMOVED. Piston is in great shape and would make a good
replacement for someone in a bind or strapped for cash. $15.00

2. <<<SOLD>>> JE 12.5:1 compression 416 piston. (87MM) Mics to 3.390 inches. Ridden on twice before I stroked the
bike. Piston shows very minor wear. Dome has been cleaned. Rings left on for easy ordering of
replacements. Wrist pin included and looks good. $35.00

3. <<< SOLD >>>> Stock rear hubs. NO STUDS. Splines are perfect. Ready to use! $15.00

4. Stock front hubs. STUDS INCLUDED. BEARINGS INCLUDED, no seals. $25.00

5. Stock handlebar clamps and bolts. Thee are the metal clamps that hold the bars to the stock stem. perfect shape. Stock bolts included $5.00

6. Stock starter cover $5.00

7. COMPLETE Stock clutch lever, including parking brake actuator and clutch disenge switch. Wirs have been cut right at the boot, but can be easily replaced. Includes rubber outside boot and cable adjusters $10.00

8. Complete stock Clutch lever FOR YAMAHA RAPTOR. Don't remember where I got it, but it works includes rubber outside boot. $5.00

9. Stock throttle cover, black. $5.00

10. Stock brake rotor hub. Splines are in perfect shape. $20.00

12. Stock Axle lock nuts - I have two of them. They show use, but all threads are good and are definatley servicable. $10 each

13. <SOLD PENDING FUNDS >>> Plastic headlight covers. These are the black pieces that go on either side of the headlights. $5.00

14. <<< SOLD PENDING FUNDS >>> Complete headlight unit minus bulbs. Includes wiring harness. $20.00

15. Stock clutch plates. Ridden on for about a year, replaced with Barnett clutch and Hinson basket. PLATES AND SPRINGS ONLY. Still lots of life left. $20.00

16. Stock chain guard and cover $5.00

17. <<< SOLD >>>> Rear Bearing carrier. In good shape. Recently cleaned up and inspected. Bearings are perfect, no
abuse on chain tension adjuster slots. $40.00

18. Swingarm. Does not include carrier or any bolts. Swingarm is perfectly straight. Never jumped, not
bent. Front bearings still installed and in excellent shape. Was not "beat on" to get swingarm bolt
out. (bolt was greased first day I got the quad) $60.00

19. <<< SOLD PENDING FUNDS >>>Side black plastics $10.00 shows wear, but still good to go.

20. Stock brake lines. Does not include banjo bolts or reservoirs. No rips, tears or weather cracks.

21. <<< SOLD >>> Used A/C Propeg nerfs and Heel guards. Guards are slightly different (one as drain holes, one doesnt)
and pegs show wear where the guards mount. Peg mounts included. $60.00

22. <<< SOLD PENDING FUNDS >>> Lonestar Rear 22" stainless steel braided brake line and banjo bolts. Never used (too short). $20.00

23. <<< SOLD >>> 400EX Seat. Yellow cover. Shows use but no tears. Foam in excellent condition no seat clamp hardware
included. $10.00

24. <<< SOLD >>> Stock 400EX Axle, includes sprocket hub (of course). Axle is perfectly straight. I will include the hub nuts, if I can find them both. LOL. $35.00

25. Stock cam, includes plunger and spring - $10.00

26 <<< SOLD >>> Stage one HotCam's Cam. (older stage one - stage 2 now I think) - excellent shape, no galling. $35.00

for the seat, does it come with the seat pan, or is it just the cover. if you have just the pan youd like to sell i would gladly take it off your hands.

the Seat is the Pan, Foam and the cover. If I can find the black cover, I'll toss it in there too.

There is no latch, stringer or bolts.

Hi John,

Here's you pic. I don't have the gasket for the cover, and I only have ONE of the screws. I have no idea where the other on got off to. I will include the one screw so that you can get replacements at your local hardware store. I know the Lowes carriies screws like this. Shouldn't be hard to find.

The guard and the cover are in great shape. They both have a little grease on' em from the chain, but I'd be happy to clean 'em up and even bead blast 'em for ya if you'd like.

Finding the screw should not be a problem, I think its 6mm (fine or med thread)

As far as th gasket, I don't know if you can make one or not. The gasket is acutally a little "bladder" inside the reservoir. It has a section and expands and contracts to keep air out of the lines should the brake fluid level get too low.

Hey John,

I just might, let me go rifle through my parts bin and see what I can come up with. I know I have one that is perfectly straight, good boot. Need to check the ball joint on it and make sure it's not ceased up. It's in good working order, but will probably need to be cleaned up and painted... it is used after all and lower A-arms usually are the first things to get pain chips.

I will stick it in the jig to make sure it's straight as well and then post pics. Work for you?

Per request Here's the HotCam.

I took a photo of the end so you can see the "Hot Cam" stamped in the end.

This item will come packaged in a HotCams box, but the box is labeled "Stage 2" - ThIS IS A STAGE ONE CAM THOUGH!!! Just using the box from my new cam to ship.

Box will include the instructions, but no cam spec card (this can be pulled form the hotcams website though. If you like, I can pull it and put it in the box too.
