they are one of the best shocks out there flat out. I have ridden nearly every brand of shocks and these are the best I have ridden. Not taking away from axis or pep, just they are more expensive and not any better.

I can't stand elka anymore. It seems everyone that I know has to have them revalved or resprung. For the money you shouldn't have to do anything to them.

These polls are so stupid , the majority of the people on this sight are 14 year old kids with stock suspension and have never even rode on a good set up for them aftermarket suspension setup. I like my TCS alot , However if I the wait and price for PEP wasnt so rediculous thats what I would have ....;)

Yea I have to agree. But some, such as myself, have rode the numerous brands. I like PEP for their valving from the factory, but I'm a die hard Axis fan and have used their shocks religiously, and I will never ride Elkas.

I have axis triple rates and i couldn't imagine my suspension being any better. I have ridden elka rec series shocks, works fully adjustable stadium series, and 450r shocks on a 400 and none of them even compare to the axis shocks i have right now. The works were sweet but for a grand i dont think they were any thing special, they weren't as smooth as my axis either. I bought my axis used for a little under 400 and they are awesome.

How bout Ohlin. They seem to be trying to get into the ATV market a little more nowadays. Has anybody ever ridden on a set of high end Ohlin shocks before.
