I'm headed over to Coos Bay this weekend to see how my new HRC kit does in the dunes. Anybody been over there recently, just wondering how beet up the dunes are.

They're pretty beat up. I was out there a week ago (had to rent, my 400 is in the shop). You'd probably be better off putting in at Spinreel campground and riding South through to Bullrun. The stretch between Houser and Horsefall camp is all cut-up. The beach is beautiful as always.

Lucky you. Today we had 40 MPH winds all day long. That must have smoothed out the dunes so very nicely.

Aww man... my machine is in the shop and I gotta see a picture like that? I'm going through WITHDRAWELS here!

That sand blasting can be a problem. I find that a skiing mask works well. As long as you keep moving, your face won't overheat.

Glad to see you had fun.
