Dial a jet carb

Anyone have a dial a jet carb? I'm not looking for one, I am just wondering how you like them. Are they EFI too? Is there a carb the is EFI available?

I had the Dial A Jet system on my 87 Honda Hurricane back when they came out and it isn't actually a carb, it's a bunch of hoses and "needle" type fittings that you puncture through the rubber carb boot. It has a certain number of settings and I liked the system a lot.

I ran it with a Supertrapp 4 into 1 exhaust, so it was tunable as well, but when I did plug reads I found that the settings on the Dial A Jet actually worked to make it run richer or leaner.

I never ran it on any atv's, but ran it for about 4 years on my Hurricane............JIM

EFI? Maybe you and I arent thinking about the samething, but in my mind, EFI stands for Electronic Fuel Injection.

What is the EFI your refering too?:confused:
