Ticking Noise?

I have a Yamaha Blaster an I raced it last weekend am i notice that the engine was makig a ticking noise. What could be making the ticking noise? Thanks

is it while its running or is it when its hot after you shut it off?

check your exhaust hookup, it might be loose on the engine or the frame end, this happened to a friend of mines blaster and we just re drilled andtapped the mount up by the grab bar and now it sounds great:)

make sure u don't have a rock in your pipe....that happend to me somehow one got in there and it made that same sound.....
if not that check and make sure everything is tight like everyone else said
