Well my quad is almost done and ready to ride i just need to set my rideheight to achieve 50". I need to adjust my preload and raise my front end. It seems nearly impossible to get the snap-ring type thing out and i'm just wondering if any of you have found an easy way of adjusting the preload on axis, pep shocks...... Pictures are welcome to help also.. Thanks all, Jason

I Always looped a strap-down to the spring to the jack and cranked the strap-down, down just enough to pop the circlip out. Also try using a little flat-head screw-driver to help pop it out.

Thanks, i'll have to try that. I think that it won't be as hard with two guys, but just am looking for ideas to make it a little bit easier.... ALso , i'm worried that its just gonna be so hard to get the preload jacked up higher, man i wish every shock had as easy of preload adjustments as the elka shocks.. they are a dream compared to these.
