Has anyone put a stock 06 swinger on a 04-05? I know you have use the 06 link and shock. I just what hear if there are any other problems like lifting the air box, etc.

from what i hear everything else works fine. however, i have been told it isn't a huge upgrade by a few people who did it. they basically told me it is more of hassle than what it is worth because it isn't much longer.

yeah, i've done it with no problems and i think its totally worth it. its the added shaft travel of the shock that makes it a good upgrade. and the added length of the swingarm helps a little. its a good idea to go ahead and get an'06 gt thunder linkage and revalve while your at it. and remember, you must have the drop link as well.

The main reason is that I can get the 06 swinger for ~half the price of a aftermarket. If I put the 06 swinger on I'll get the ELKA pro-dual link and sell my current ELKA rear shock.
