my 2 stroke honda is blowing oil out the exhaust pipe, there is a little splatter where the pipe meets the motor and a dribble out the silencer.
what would do this ?
its a dirtbike that I bought for my son and it runs strong I just dont know if there is something I need to do so it stays running.
its a 1999 cr80r
I know this is a quad forum but you guys have helped me on my 250r and there is so much experience in this forum.
thank you and I mean it.

a little oil leaking from the exhaust port might mean it needs a new o-ring that goes around the headpipe. it's really cheap and easy to replace. Some oil leaking out the end of the tail pipe is pretty much normal. my 2002 cr250r leaked oil out the tail pipe, but i was running it rich. maybe you could lean out your fuel mixture just a tad to compensate for the oil leaking out the rear pipe.

I took the air filter off and wow that thing was clogged
I cleaned it and dumped the gas out that he had in it (I think it was mixed like 20:1)
I put in klotz at 40:1 and the combo of filter/new gas did it up
no more oil and it wasnt running as good as I thought because now its got one heck of a punch for a little 80.
