After every 3 rides...

Or After every Race!

Both Sides, and filter every other time.

Every 2 practice sessions or every race.....

Thats funny you say that the tranny is usually cleaner on yours? My tranny side is usually NASTY and completely broke down when I change it. My engine side is usually still pretty good, but I ride the clutch and rev this baby to the moon though!

Love the TRX!! Brraaappp!

I just put a new crank in mine. I change both and the filter every ride. Ive only been on 3, 4hour rides. Its cheap insurance. Im using gn-4. Im going to switch to full synthetic and change it every other ride.

I highly recommend the Amsoil full synthetic motor oil and gear oil!!

whats the secret on draining the tranny oil? it fills up my skid plate. I use a peice of aluminum flashing as a drain into the oil pan. The socket sucks to - my hands don't fit in between the brake lever either.

I take my skidplate off...

what a pain that would be. If I had to do that every time I changed the oil - I wouldn't even have it on.

I drilled a 1" hole in my skid plate under the trans drain hole.

To get the bolt out use a 1/4" socket with a wobble extension.

Now your talking. I'll get that wobble thing & drill a hole. I hate customizing but when it makes life easier - ya just gotta do it. Thanx. You'll be rewarded in heaven.
