Procircuit Slip on

I got a procircuit slip on, on a stock header. Should I have a clamp holding them together. Right now they are bolted onto the quad and fit together pretty well. They are working good too, however, there is nothing holding the joint together. Any suggestions?

I don't have any type of clamp either. Just some hi-temp silicone on the joint.

Thats exactly what i did, I wasn't sure if this would work however.
