I am gonna be doing a starter clutch on my friends 2003 Raptor 660. Is there any thing I should know or look for while doing this?

Simple is a pretty relative term, there are a lot of people out there who have problems doing valve adjustments...

Go to raptortranny.com and look up the procedure shown there. If you feel comfortable with the process and tools it shows then you're all set. If not you may want to bribe a mechanically inclined buddy with a case or hire a mechanic to do it for you.

You might need a buddie to hod the fly-wheel for you. Other than that it shouldn't be hard, if you have some good directions:D!

i like it better. i dont ride to many trails so i dont notic it stalling, and drag racing it helps quite a bit, but the main reasion i did it is to climb better. we got alot of big sand pits with huge hills, not that i neede the extra help to climb hills but u can never have too much power :D
