xr 400 hotcam stage 1

i was wonderin if this would fit or be good in my quad

i am getting a 406 piston put in with it

great for low end. the XR hotcam is the exact same as the one for the 400ex. the stage 1 is a great woods cam, shoud go well with you 406 piston.

well stock cams a 400ex cam is not the same as xr400. 400ex stock cam is all bottom end. xr400 stock cam is mid-top. i would switch em. it be cheeper that way. at least thats what i read in dirtwheeles

I believe the question was wether a stage 1 hot cam would fit. You're just confusing him with this. Yes, the stage one for the XR is exactly the same as the stage one for the EX.

stock XR400 cam that I ran was ALL bottom end and some mid no top.
