For those of you that put on an aftermarkeet hotsart lever, what did you use to take up the slack from the plasict part of the cable to the metal part of the lever. almost like a spacer up against the lever body to keep the whole cable from moving. Please help me out. any ideas are apriiated.
Thanks in advance. Rob

I rigged up something from one of the adjusters out of the stock clutch housing. Worked great for me on my ASV hot start lever setup.

For my RTC (dubach) hot start I called Baldwin up and told them my situation and they sent me a hot-start cable for a crf hot-start, that adapts to the TRX carb. Give Baldwin a call they are awsome people to deal with and i'm not even sponsored by them. I think the cable cost like $12.;)

As mentioned above Baldwin sells the cable/connector. I however slit a piece of rubber tubing the length of the gap that needed to be filled at the lever and slipped it over the cable securing it with a small zip-tie and then finishing it off with a heat shrink sleeve. This has been working for me for the past year with no problems and it was free/cheap:D
