These used Works shocks are on ebay for sale, all around, triple-rates with rezzies, new in 2001, i bid up to $450 and still the reserve was not met. Is it worth more? I emailed the guy asking what weight they were valved for, i am 160-165 range, and if they were set up for stock arms or extended. I suppose I could get a brand new pair of fronts with cans for the same price, but why not look for a deal? They looked good in the pic, but I'm not sure how to get the pic on here??

There is sure a lot of good deals on there!

Shocks all around would kick tail, i don't care if they're a bit used.

Also, how much do propegs cost, I want black webbing, and the heel kick-up aluminum pan. Pair on ebay for 185. Is there any pro-peg style without aluminum pegs??

Thanks a lot guys!!

Or these fronts, brand new, custom valved for 480. I'd personally rather get a good deal all around on used ones...i don't care about new/used...just good condition.

If i were gonna spend 5 bills on front shocks, I'd buy Ohlins or Elkas, something better like that.

Thanks

I would look around for a litle longer. Last week there was a set of axis and pep that went for under $500. I bought my ohlins for 430.

If the shocks are in good shape, thats an awesome deal. I would go for those if i were you. By the way, what type of riding do you do, and what type of riding are they set up for. That is an important factor to consider.

Oh well scratch that idea then, I'm sure I'll find a better deal than that some other time.

Thanks

When you get to their website, and you see the search box, just type in "400ex", that's what I do, there's like 9 pages of stuff i think.

i never bid too much on ebay , like buyin anything expensive ( $500 shocks) is too risky, seeing as everything is "as-is" , but u can get some deals on parts
