A few questions...

How old is your rider?
How much does your rider weigh?
How will you be using the quad? Racing? Trails? etc...

He is 4 and a half, tall for his age and weighs about 45 lbs. He has been riding power wheels atvs since he was two. We will mainly be doing wood riding. He also has 2 younger bros that will be moving into the quad.

Thanks

Do you plan on any upgrades? Tires and wheels specifically. The Eton 50m has direct connect wheels and 145/70x6 tires (if I remember correctly) and cannot upgrade with out new hubs.

If your only choices are Eton, Polaris, Zuki & Kaw I would buy either the Eton 70 or just go to an LT80. The mini 50's are not great for anything but putting around the yard and your son will get tired of it real quick.

Rather the eton 50m, the dealer will probably have the eton 70 which is a better choice than the 50m. While the 50m is not a true mini (same frame, plastic, a-arms etc as the 70 and 90) the upgrades are limited because of the direct connect wheels. Get the 70 and don't turn up the cdi.

Thanks Dennis. That is what I was thinking about doing. Have you had any trouble with your two etons?

Eric, No, no problems with the etons. Other than upgrading the tires on the 50m. They don't have a lot of hours on them but so far good.

I need to stick with a 50 so he can race.

Which is better? Kymco, Eton, Polaris, Kasea?

What is up with Kasea, I can not find a dealer for them anywhere.

Thanks

Thanks Brian! I went over and talked to Ron today. He is an awsome guy. I am going to get the Kasea 50. He is going to put the nerf bars on, wire the kill switch and I am going to go with the Itp tire kit. Anyone in Indiana with a kid racing a mini should talk to Ron.

Thanks

Good to hear! Ron is a great guy and can set you up with everything you need for racing. Hopefully we'll meet up at the tracks soon.
