View Full Version : 450r blowing oil into airbox

Why is my 450r blowing oil out the vent tube into airbox ? I thougth that it may have been over full but not the case ??? It emptyed the clutch side enougth the clutch wouldnt work :( HELP Any ideals ?

could you of had a piece break in there when you broke your case? That is my best guess.

Not exactly sure but if the crank seals that seperate the clutch/tranny side from engine side go bad from possible bad bearings wouldnt this cause the case to over pressurize pushing oil out? just a though? i may be wrong??

yes it could, and, and someone may have mentioned to try a leak down test :D

You may have a broken right case! I have had the same thing happen to me ..

You need to do a compression test you may have alot of blow by. :(

Mines in the shop as we speak for that very reason.

Only 60 pound compression is what I ended up with :( Hoping new piston an rings will help out :D

did you disable your auto-decompressor when you did the compression test? if you didnt that would be why it only read 60psi.
