should i buy 250r shocks for my 400ex the shocks are stup for lik 180 rider i thnk stock a-arms, they are triplerate(hard to see in pics) with rezzies, would these be good for a 115 rider with +2 for some trailriding mx and heavy jumping.

thats a good price to pass up....but ur best bet is to get in touch wit Works, and ask them if u can soften them up enough for ur weight and ask them if they will do good on 2+. i wouldnt know cuz i dont have much experince wit shocks. but thats which route i would take.

well im gonna buy them and try them out when i get my arms, i mean they retail for lik 539 and and getting them renuilt cant be too expenisive

I just got stiffer springs for my triples for my +2 a arms, cost me $160, for 6 springs:eek:

SO HOW DO U THINK THESE WILL PERFORM ON SOME +2'S WHEN THEY ARE MENT FOR A 180/210 RIDER AND IM BARELY LIKE 120

For that price I would buy them anyway. They may be okay being the EX is a little heaveier then an R. If not you could probly get ride of them for that price.

16 inch, and i would think they would be fine.... a 400ex is alot heavier in the frant than a 250r, ive ran 250r shocks before...

when you go with wider a arms, there is more stress put on the shocks. Therefore +2 shocks are sprung a little heavier. So, in your case, they might work just right...heavier quad and wider arms....this should balance out close for your body weight...

Yes, I still have the stocker springs that came on my triple rates.... I have all 6 of them. I rode maybe 30 hours on them before I got my +2 a arms.
