anyone try this idea with any success? just curious for this coming winter

i seen a ds650 with paddle tires in the snow. it didnt look like it worked to good. i looked like ie was just diging holes. but he had 18 inch i think sand gekos and it was on a lake.

get 4 snow tires.

i did on my 250r along time ago. it was great for roosting. i don't remeber how good it hooked though.

well the guy on the ice it didnt look like he was getting good grip because it would just scoop the snow away and the tires would be sitting on icec then. it looked pritty bouncy too.

Maxxis makes a fair priced snow tire..

i read on here that the paddles get filled with snow and they become just round. Rob

I have the AMS Zipper tire (same as Maxxis 4-snow) and it worked pretty good in the snow. The front end is still hard to keep above the snow but otherwise it worked good.
