Doug Gust..number 55.

Come on, he rides a worked 400 instead of a worked 450. He's one of the older guys out there. He has heart, and doesn't brag.

What else could you ask for in a pro?

Tim Farr because he is the one that made the racing scene happin with Nationals n stuff with out Tim there would be no National Motocross races. Think about Farr has been around a long time and ya hes had his awesome years and some downers.
But hes always #1 to me cuz he started all this

Tim Farr would have to be my favorite, but he is having such bad back problems. Wait till next year, everyone will be talking about Josh Upperman.

I think Harold "Bummblebee" Goodman is the man. He has been extremely nice every time i meet him. He even let me ride the dunes with him and his crew! super down to earth. Maybe not the MX champ But when Dirt track somes around watch out

Upperman is sick. He also has the support of both Farr and Baldwin - a winning combination... um yes. Josh will be coached to be a champion from the start. Oh yea, and even when Gust was riding a 400... it wasn't a 400, it was a 450... for the record. But anyway, I voted for Joe Byrd because he's a freaking machine.

they only give you 10 so I listed the top riders in the latest Dirt Wheels magazine...I wanted to fit more like Dunk, Matt White and a few more but couldnt...

i dont think im started the national mx series. he has been around a long time, but gust has been around longer and gary denton had 8 national championships before tim won one. joe byrd has also been around since them along with keith little, spader and even goodman on the mini's.

its good to see people that have been around since the early 90's still being competative against the younger and new comers in the pro class. also every one of the pro's are extremely nice, talented and friendly and its hard to pick a favorite, thats probably the best thing about our sport is how approachable the upper riders are. plus you have all the pro's who are not still racing, like gret stuart, donny banks and the others.

Tim Farr, but look for Josh Upperman to take Tim's spot for pro class in the next 5 years and look out because Josh is an animal.

That is my thought process, I'm sure he will be one to contend with. He's a heck of a nice guy too, we met him up at Baldwins one day.

many of them ;) Have you ever seen Bill Balance , he could easily race A class Nats and be competetive in doing so . All of the TOP guys could race many series and do very well , there all VERY talented !:macho

not to burst your bubble but tell pat brown that ;)

Im not saying he isnt a skilled rider, cause he is damn good and we all know that. However he entered the same Ironman 05 GNCC race that Natalie lead and got dominated.

Pat Brown is still an upcoming rider IMO ... I still stand by what I said as to most of the TOP guys could run GNCC

sorry to burst many bubbles, but all this talk bout the pro am riders and rookie pros, the pros that have been running have their respect for a reason... everytime someone says watch out upperman is coming, and all these others, yes they r fast, and they r a heck alot better than i will ever be.. but they r still no match the the ones that have done this for years, and don't tell me i'm stupid for this, b/c for the last few years i've seen and heard, omg watch out, wimmer is coming, pat brown is comin, jermey lawson is comin, josh creamer is comin, and many others, but look whos doing any good, but i give them all respect for moving up and advancing in the sport, but other than that, their time will come

Ballance cud run more than just A class in MX. I guarentee he could run Pro- am, most likely pro. He is a heck of a rider.

well i think upperman could stay in the top ten in the points as it is....look at Tavis Cain hes been in the sport for alot of years and can barely stay in the top ten....and Wienen (a rookie) is killing tavis....so...thats my perspective of it...but i get what your sayin
