I am hoping to find the proper jet size for my '02 400. I live 3000' above sea level and have a White bros slip on with 5 discs and a K&N filter with Outerwares and 8, 1" holes in the air box lid. What would you suggest I run for a main jet? Do I keep the stock needle? and should I change the pilot jet as well? Any suggestions would be helpful.

well since on my dyno jet kit the sealevels are below 3000 and 2nd is 3000 to ?0000. so with the air holes i would maybe try a 155 or a 150. then check ur plug and go from there. thats is my .02. i didnt change my pilot but am considering it. and i did change my needle cuz my kit come wit it.

I would bye a jet kit so if you go to a higher elevation you can rejet its worth the $$$:devil

Why are you running 5 discs? Try 10-12, it'll be a little louder but more powerful.
I talked to WB about a year ago and you may want to try a 152 jet main and keep the needle where it is and turn the fuel screw out 1/2 -1 turn, probably 1/2 would be closer.

I know this isn't a popular recommendation but I think you will be close at your elevation. WB recommends a 155 main and needle clip down one notch and fuel screw out about an extra turn. All at sea level. Just my .02.
