crankcase vent on 06

im sure the 04/05 have one to but on the 06 the crankcase venbt is piped into the side of the air filter i was wondering if it would hurt anything if i piped it out under the swingarm like dirtbike have or does this hurt the engine someway i cant see that it would seems like honda just put it like that for emmisions

You want to have clean air going into this crankcase vent, so if your going to pipe it down by the swinger, you should get an aftermarket crankcase breather from your local auto parts store. Thats what i had to do on my 04 cuz i removed my whole air box assembly.

The reason why its piped in tight to the stock filter is to breath in clean air..

The air coming through that hose should be coming out of it and back into your air box and back into your intake for emissions.
