cant find any torque spec. on the bolts that hold the jug to the case. I am guessing maybe 33 ft. lbs? and the arrow on the piston goes towards the exaust?

The big cylinder bolts on the inside of the motor that actually hold the cylinder onto the lower case get 33 lb-ft according to my Honda manual here. You were right on the money :) :D

well its ALIVE,,,,just got done firing it up. It figures the only gasket that i didnt replaced leaked oil (chain tensioner) .
before i put the rocker cover back on i filled everthing up with oil
and cranked it over without the spark plug to get the oil system
primed. seamed to work ok. One thing that i did seam strange
was when i adj. the valves on tdc ( intake .005 exhaust .006 )
when i turned the engine over to hold the exhaust valves open
to ck the adj. on intake, there was .002 - .003 more lash then
what i set it at. This also happened on the exhaust. If i was to adj. the lash this way i think they would be too tight! Anyone
ever ran into this before? 416 11:1 , stage 1 hotcam, new
cam chain. One other thing was the head gasket thickness is
.055 and the old one was .036, guess that 11:1 piston is now 10:5 or 10:1 do you think that it will need to be rejetted?
