few questions NEED HELP!

hey guys, im really interested in getting one of these, or if i can find one i have a few questions i would like to ask...

1. how much is a stock one worth?
2. are stock ones decent for MX tracks
3. why are they so rare now?
4. are they REALLY powerfull and fast?

1. The shape of a stock quad determines value. Sometimes you just get a good deal and sometimes you get bent over. Inspection is critical.2. They are decent on the track in my opinion but they also have a lot of room to improve.3. They are rare because they were only made from 86-89 and also they will no longer be making 2 strokes at all. 4. Stock they are suprisingly quick but a few modifications and you can have a real screamer.

1. In mint shape a 250R is worth tons.

2. They are better suited for an MX track stock than most other quads.

3. Because they made so few - they only made them for 4 years. Lots were made, but probably half of them were scrapped or turned into P.O.S.'s

4. They are among the fastest stock quads you can buy. Right there with 450's and Raptors. They arguably have the most potential of any quad made besides a Banshee, being capable of over 100 horsepower with aftermarket cylinders.
