We built a flex ramp out of wood a couple days ago. It works really well and is really stable. It only takes a couple of hours if yer good with a table saw and a tape measure. The jeep is my friends '93 XJ with 3" rusty's aal and helper springs in the rear and 3" rusty's coils in the front. He's also runnin 31" mastercrafts. The flex was limited by the shocks.

look up the ramp Had good bite with those tires

front tire stuffed

ilpadrino113

how far the front spring was unseated

we could completely take the spring out and put in back in without compressing it at all

while we were at it we threw my car up there, it almost flipped over

Well the point of it is the see how u can get with all 4 tires on the ground. The jeep could have gone to the top but one tire was off the ground, we just thought it would be funny to get the car up there.

there's not many trails but there are plenty of places to ride untill the farmers seed the fields. There's a couple places to ride but it's a little dissapointing. Power line access roads are the best trails around here.

It's not really that rusty, they salt the roads like MOFO's out here so that's all surface tarnish from the winter. And the point is to see how u can get and still have all 4 tires on the ground. The point of that is to know how off-camber u can on a trail and not flip over and still have traction going to all yer tires.

once I move I'll make a ramp or find somethin and do some flexin with the s10, and once I SAS my new truck, I'll flex with that too, lol.

ya it's amazing what that little car will do. I've had it through snow needer than the car itself and in mud over the fenders. As long as she stays movin it rarely gets stuck but if i have to stop i'm done. everything i've broken has been covered un hyundai warranty (except for the body damage of course)

Um Yea, this poor guy absolutely clueless. Jeep = rust, dents and body damage. Jeeps aren't supposed to be pretty, they are made to be used off road. And the ramp thing... a certain degree angled ramp is used to measure the RTI (ramp travel index) of your vehicle. You drive up the ramp with one of your front tires until the same-side back tire lifts off the ground or stops getting traction. This is how you guage how well your suspension articulation works.

ilpadrino113- i saw those over on jeep forum. I am underpowered on there as well i just bought a 1997 cherokee sport, 3" skyjacker lift and 31" BFG AT's. flex sucks with teh swaybars still conected, but the rear will be romoved this week, and quick diso's will soon find their way up front.

you need to find a bigger hill or make a flex ramp because that cherokee has way more flexx than wat its giving you there

well my springs are pretty stiff with the lift. i get about 16 MPG out of my 4.0, and that is with a pretty heavy foot. i have heard of people getting 20+ out of them.

6.0L Chevy. Turbo 400 Trans. Atlas Transfer. I think.

it is my bros rig that I am helping him build. and i don't remember exactly what the trans was. i know its an atlas and a 6.0l with a zr 1 intake and custom exhaust.

ya limiting straps are high up on the to-do list. we don't have the kind of money or equiptment to build any serious power. ithink we did pretty good with the jeep considering he only spent less than 3k total including the cost of the jeep
