2001 400ex. A-arms have play. Looking at OEM Parts finder, looks like they are all bearings. Pivot works is $60 per a-arm to rebuild.

I have been seeing and found bushing kits to rebuild the a-arms.

What do you guys ususally do or recommend? Where do you buy your bushings or bearing kits.

What I'm asking is I have a choice to buy the OEM bearings or I can elect to use a busing kit?

I also found brand new upper and lower a-arms with bearings delivered to my door for $220.

What do you recommend?

I had to make the same decision as you and I went with the bushings with grease grooves from www.atvbushings.com I also installed grease fittings in my a-arms. I think it was $100 for the complete a-arm bushing set. They have worked great so far.

Those a-arm bearings cost so much you might as well buy aftermarket a-arms that come with new bushings and balljoints. The bearings may last a little longer, but I would just replace them with bushings and install some grease fittings.
