I saw someone on here talking about a Service Honda 250r. Whats the difference between that and a regular honda 250r. Is it a different company or something. I also saw a service honda cr500 dirtbike on ebay.

The service honda 250r is just an R motor on a 400ex chassis. Nothing special IMO.

Its not even a real R motor. Its one out of the cr250 dirtbike.

Its a cr250 motor in a 400ex frame. By no means is it anywhere near as good as an original 250r. The cr250 motor isn't counter ballenced, so it will vibrate alot. And the 400ex frame doesn't have as good geometry of a 250r.

although it will have quite a bit more power than a stock R motor

Service honda is a motorcycle dealer. They make them and sell them, or sell a kit to transform 400EX's.

And they are about $9,000 you could buy 2 1/2 R's
