Chris Borich and Dawn came out to watch the start.

Stephanie Parton was ready to race. She is still looking for her first win of the season, but a good finish will be an improvement over the DNF at Steel Creek.

Traci has won 3 in a row, and she was hoping to make it 4 in a row with Yamaha's PR Manager, Steve Nessl in attendance.

Ashley Whaley has been steadily improving this year. She will be running up with the front of the pack in no time.

Angel Atwell was trying to improve on her 2nd place finish at Steel Creek. Some bad luck there may have cost her the win. She is 2nd in the points behind Traci.

The riders stood for the National Anthem as the race was about to begin.

Stephanie Parton grabbed the holeshot as the rest of the class was hot on her heels.

Rounding the first turn Angel and Jennifer Fulkerson slide past Stephanie on the outside.

Angel came around the 6 mile marker in the lead.

Traci had to fight through the dust on the first lap in 2nd place, but then the rain would start coming down and make it really slick by the 2nd lap.

Half way thru the 2nd lap Traci had overtaken Angel for the lead.

Jennifer Fulkerson moved into the 4th spot ahead of Albright and Verkade.

Near the end of the 2nd lap Angel trailed Traci by about 10 seconds.

Stephanie followed close behind. With only 16 seconds separating the top 3 the race was anybodies to win.

Traci’s quad was still losing power and she couldn’t hold off Stephanie any longer.

As Traci crossed the line she looked back to see what was wrapped around her axel.

A barbed wire fence got tangled around her axel and when it got wrapped around her heel guard it pulled it back into the tire.

You could tell Traci was a little bit disappointed with her bad luck at Big Buck. Still a podium finish is much better than no finish.

Stephanie was happy to finish ahead of Traci and gain backs some of the points she lost in the last round.

Harlen Foley was running the new Yamaha Raptor in the sportsman class for this race. Harlen got tangled with Michael Newsom on the start.

Ken and John battled back and forth all morning and he finished only 3 seconds behind him in 2nd.

Harlen was grinning ear to ear wit a 5th place overall on his first race of the season. I guess he liked the Raptor.

Jim Stack brought out a Heavy Weight Championship Wrestling belt for the beginning of the season. It goes home with the race winner at each event. Jim lost the belt in Florida but he was ready to win it back with the help of Cardio Stack.

Scott Kilby would love to have the win at Big Buck and take the belt home with him. With the win in Florida and 3 2nd place finishes Scott is out to a big points lead.

Stack got passed Kilby on lap 2 to take the lead. He really started to pull away from the rest of the class. He opened up over a minute lead on 2nd place.

Mike Penland was having start problems as his quad wouldn’t fire on the line. The team finally got him going but it was too little too late as his finished 15th.
