I think pirates are better in numbers, and with their ships; but if you take a single ninja versus a single pirate, the ninja is way cooler.

Ninja's may have swords (and some of them do magic), but pirates have rum and sweet battleships. They can set the water on fire and shoot muskets and other stuff too.

Pirates are way sweeter.

Pirates may have rum, but ninjas with they're strealthyiness and martial arts skills, can easily break into a liquor store undetected, and get as much alchohal as they want, then steal all the pirated treasure while slitting the pirates througt with a spackling knife while he's in your house stealthily beatin ur @$$ for liking pirates in teh first place
