1985 honda 350X,locked up,I started it up rode it 20 feet,real slow,low rpm,and then that terrible sound CRUNCH!!!what do I do first?or what will it cost to have this fixed,ball park??thanks....or dose anyone need a 350x thats broke....trade for 200x thats not broke..........thanks

most likely you ceased the piston to the cylinder. in that case all you need is a new piston, and the cylinder needs to be rebored. but, you also could have ceased the rod bearing, crank bearing, dropped a valve, or ceased something in your gearbox. I WOULD kick it over slowly and see if it turns over. if it kicks smothly and has good compression and possibly even starts, then its your gearbox. but be careful, you can only make things worse.

it will not kick over......it didnt just quit,it made terrible sounds then quit.......can a hillbilly fix it.....lol
