View Full Version : Hood that allows stock lights

Does anyone know of a cool hood that allows you to keep the stock lights? I don't care if it's carbon, plastic, whatever....

A while back I saw a pic of a quadtech hood that kept the lights intack but then never saw it resurface (and it's not listed on the quad tech website). Here it was:

Is there anything else out there that doesn't look so much like the stock hood????

The only other one that I've seen is this one from Trail Tech that uses the stock position lighting with a full bore hood. It's kinda cool too. http://www.trailtech.net/trx450r.htm

to me that's far superior to the ones i've seen that don't factor in the headlights.... looks good...

Whats the point of a hood like that? It looks exactly the same as a stock hood except that one is carbon fiber.

Maybe he likes the carbon fiber look? (not trying to be a smart-***, just saying.)

The carbon fiber is cool, but I definately don't think that I'd be willing to pay $165 or $170 for it though since it is basically exactly the same as stock. That is why I was asking if anyone had seen anything else out there. Also did you check out the link that I posted to of the full bore? Here it is:

Just wondering if there were any other options.

what's the point of any hood? i actually like that hood.

if ur gonna keep ur lights,then forget bout buying a hood, unless u get the fullbore plastic, but that replaces the hood anyways,, if u buy a hood that lets u keep the lights u might as well throw the money down the drain, it's quite stupid if u ask me, but just my 2 cents
