For the cam?

Remove the head cover.

Remove the upper torx plug from the stator side case (left side). Top front of stator area.

You can either remove the center plug and use a tool to rotate the crank. Or you can put in in 5th and rotate it over slowly.

If you use the rolling method, roll it forward "slowly". You'll see a double hatch.. looks like || then shortly after you'll see the timing mark. T| Line up the | next to the T with the groove in the hole.

Next look at your cam sprocket. It will have 3 | marks 90deg apart. 1 side has no mark. Rotate it so that the two |'s opposite of each other are lines up with the top of the head where you put the gasket material. The | mark perpendicular to those should be pointing up. The small diameter of the cam should be to the top, and the lobes should be down toward the cylinder. (You'll need to loosen the tensioner if you have to adjust the timing).

That's all there is to it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure that the slack is taken out of the chain on the front side of the engine (exhaust side), all of the slack should be on the tensioner side.

Recheck the timing once to release the tensioner, to tighten the chain up.
