TOP SPEED SUZUKI 230E Quad sport

Getting a stock 1989 suzuki 230E and just wondering if anybody has one. And could tell a little bit about it and what would be the top speed of it. :macho

Thats a pretty cool quad for a beginner... A friend of mine had one and it ran about 50 to 55 or so with the wind behind is back.

( while were on the subject)..... this is all i got of a lt230:D i plan on puting a kawasaki zx 900a street bike motor in it i thank it will be a good frame cuzs it's strong (heavy).and the motor will be heavy.i dont no if i can get parts for it.or to fit it ...does anybody? no a place where i can get parts for it.(stock) or maby arter market? thanks.......hay mr 250x got any pix's of the lt?

get that thing 50+ ez I used to ride an 86 eh that would do bout that. Still does, I'll post a pic tomorrow.

thier ok 99% of them were junk keep a eye on your swingarm bushings and your chain tension or the chain will come off hit the case oil leak out boom crank is gone....its very common problem wit them

also look at the cases they usually leak cause they are different metals and they expand and contract differnetly and stuff ask im bout the motor they usually have weak clutches due to there age ask him bout it and what the did with it

well it depends if it is twaeked and stuff like from jumpin casue the suspension is only made to take up bumps the motors would run half dead too take a good look at ask for id of work like oil and stuff also look how they ride that will tell alot bout 20 yr old machine:)
