I just picked up a 6 x 10 utility trailer for a great deal, and I want to paint this thing. It has some surface rust on it and I don't want to sand it all off. What kind of paint should I use to just paint over the rust and have it look somewhat ok. I'm not looking for best of show, just functionality. Thanks,

Adam

i ised rustoleum on my last one just to go over it real quick. there is an paint that you can put on that is supposed to stop the rust.

rustoleum is the best. put on a few coats and you will be all set.

I would just go over it with a wire brush then paint it with Rustoleum- that way you know it will stick
