Hey 250r gurus, I am considering installing a rad valve on my 88 250r, it will be a ESR 330, and I will be using a 38mm airstryker carb.

With the 38mm carb, should I use a rad valve made for the TRX or can I use a CR rad valve? If I use a CR, does it matter what year?

Thanks for the advice.

I'm switching to the cr rad valve because of space, my new 350 does not fit the way my old 330 did and the cr rad valve is shorter right now I have my carb hitting the frame and it looks like it can pop off at any time

um, i believe you need to run a reed spacer to get the carb to mount up right with the cr rad valve

heres a pic

That's great since I just ordered a CR rad valve, now I have to get a spacer. Guess I'll have to wait to put it on

I had to use a 1/2 spacer and use a heat gun to stretch my intake tube for the 39 pwk to fit on my atc250r, the carb does sit at different angle, but its not gonna come off. I have a 310pv(295) on my atc too, I think it will fit a stock cylinder better.
