best oil : fuel mixture to a blaster

whats the oil to fuel mxture for a blaster .... because im picking 1 up on tues. and im not sure what to run in it and its a 2001 so i think i need to mix it because its not oil injected?? mabey ? im not shure :D

You definetly have to mix it if its not oil injected lol. I'm not sure what ratio though ....

40:1 redline oil. check first, make sure the oil injector isnt still there

WE run our blaster @ 32:1 w/ Dumonde Tech synthetic race oil & have had GREAT luck w/ it NEVER a problem :)

Based on what I have been told or read, I agree with previous postings - range is between 32 to 1 to 40 to 1. Anywhere in that range is acceptable for normal operations. However, I also understand that the choice can theoretically affect maintenance issues. At the 32 to 1 end [more oil], the spark plugs need to be cleaned more frequently and the exhaust system gets oily. At the 40 to 1 end [less oil], top ends need to be re-built more frequently. .......conclusion: spark plugs are cheaper than top ends........

We've ran our blaster @ 32:1 since we bought it & built it :) I will have to say it NEVER fouls plugs ect alot of it depends on the quality/type of oil you run also :)

The only time we have a problem is when my mechanice ports the pee out of it :eek2: :eek: :rolleyes: :blah: :macho now we have 2 top ends w/ broken ports :( ahhh oh well they will be back up & running soon I hope haha ;)

I run Maxims Super M 32:1 in my blaster. I used to run Spectro 321S ,but at $10 a bottle and one bottle does five gallons it was too expensive.

40:1 amsoil... there is no better oil.

blasters are oil injected. unless it has the block off kit. which i would reccomend if it doesnt. i usually do 32:1
