problems jetting my 400

ok. i put on a wb slip on pipe. when i was riding it i had not changed any of the jets and it ran fine except for a little bit of backfire on deceleration. i bought a 150 and 155 main jet today and i tried the 155 jet with the lid off and it was way too lean. also, when i put the jets in it takes a really long time for it to start it just cranks and cranks and cranks. the plug was white when i came back from driving around the circle. so i put the lid on and it still wouldnt run. so i took out the 155 and put in the 150 with the lid on since i figure taking off the lid will give a lot of airflow, and i still cant get it to run. now im charging the battery because its drained and i cant get the Fing thing to run.. :mad:

If the 155 was still to lean with the lid on then you need a bigger main. Grab a 160 and 165.

i couldnt get it to run. i got it all worked out now i dont know why it wasnt running before... all of a sudden it just started working with the jets again. i put in a 150 jet and it worked but i didnt get to check the plug because it was getting to late
