the little box

does any body know what the little box plumed into the intake between the carb and the air box is and what it does it has me puzzeld does it help or hurt most of my exsperienc is you want the intake as smooth as possible it seems it would cause disterbance plus it seems to be placed in front of the air snorkle another obstacle for fresh air any help or ideas would be great tanks

I'm guessing he's talking about the crankcase breather system on the 400EX. Other Honda quads may have similar settups for the crankcase breather.

i think thats what he is asking about...the lil plastic jug is there incase of water going into intake none gets into crank...and also if oil backs out, it doesnt go into intake

in my trx 450r manual they call it an air chamber............. dont know the purpose cuz i dont got a 450r
