complete set of plastics: how much?

how much did your stock, or aftermarket plastic's cost all said and done? my friend thinks you can buy a set of plastic's for $300 and I've never seen them for $300. He's a bit of a dink, but, lemmie know.

Note: this applies to new plastic purchased at a retailer only.

I think it depends on what model but I was checking on plastic for my 300 EX and I can get them for about 350(before shiping) from zm performance. www.zmperformance.com.

i got a set of white race cut maiers from golden west cycle .com and they where like $275 shipped. I think they really were a lil cheaper than that but it is a good guess.

gwc sells kits for $220 but then you still need a gas tank cover. if you get a race front you dont need to buy the side pannles but if you buy the standerd front you need side pannles too.

i got mine form nacs. $150front/$150 rear/$50pannles/ $20 tank cover. also have a nuther front that causted me $150 and they all have graphics. all to geather i spent $620 on just plastic n graphics

causted 40 for shipping. they ripp you off. it causts me only 18 to ship a full set of plastic.

you can buy a complete set ( front, rear, sidepanels, gas tank cover ) factory 400ex plastic for $289 plus shipping on ebay. That is for the 99 - 04 model plastics red or yellow
