where to buy a new 05 or 06 400ex

I live on the NY / PA border. I'm really concidering buying an 05 or 06 400EX. It seems most guys are getting them for $4,800 or so.

The local shop offered me $5,000 even, $5,460 OTD (tax & ny reg). Thats an ok price I guess.

Any suggestions on other places to buy an 05 or 06 400ex. I have seen some guys claim prices down to $3,999. If I have to drive a few hours to get that kinda deal I'm all for it.

Overall I am thinking I shouldn't settle for less than $4,800 ......

Also if I get it in PA, I don't have to pay tax right? Only if I bother to register it her in ny.

if you go to the honda website you can type in your zip code and find dealers close to you. my grandparents live in vestel which is right next to binghamton. i believe there are quite a few dealers up there. if you dont find any on the internet look in a phone book for your area and northern pa. hope i helped:)
