I have a 440 that has been built for about 3 days now and was wondering what oil to use in it. As of right now it has Castrol GTX 20w50. Is this oil bad for the clutch system, if so what oil is recomended. Price of oil is nothing compared to a rebuild.

Run a good full synthetic oil in there and you'll be fine.

Amsoil 20w-50 is my choice for the 416.

If Castroil GTX is a car oil, switch to 4-stroke motorcycle oil. I just did and I couldn't believe the difference. Oil is not oil.
