Alright, I just got this 250r and its got a durablue axle and lock nut. When everything is set up there is a groove about a half inch maybe away from where the lock nut stops and im pretty sure im missing a piece. Because right now the axle slides in an out like nothing. Any info is appriciated. Especially if you know where i can get this peice by its self.

sounds like your missing the snap ring that goes in the groove.

for example; if you wanted to remove the axle from your R you would obviously have to take off the wheel then the hub, then the snap ring that sits in that groove before you could remove the lock nut.

Its just a ring? Seems like there should be something bigger, and I wouldnt trust a ring holding my axle in place. The axle moves right through the nut. Plus the end where the ring shold be is flat, like there should be another peice to the nut. There would be alot of play if its just a ring.

believe me its the ring

it fits in the groove in the axle then you turn the nut OUT toward it and it locks in place had the same problem pick up a ring for like 1 dollar from a hardwar store if u can match it or just order it form service honda that wil tkae care of all ur porblems and it will hold dont worry about that
