I found a brand new WB Pro Meg full system for my sons 400 at what I thought was a good deal at $390. They claimed it made 6 more HP than stock. It arrived today and I fished out the Dyno sheet and sure enough it makes 6 more HP.......with a 10:1 piston, and rev box. Well we dont have that stuff, all we have is a K&N and outerwear. So I cant use the jetting specs WB sent (168 main). We have a 158 and a 160. This is a 2003 and we will be diching the air box lid. 2000 to 3500 ft. in elev. I talked to a guy who has run a 400ex for many years and he says a 155 for a slip on and K&N. It allso says 12 disks is best but again that was for the bike with the piston and rev box.

Anyone out there have any knowledge or insight on this?

Dennis Kirk part #44-8865. I think when I orderd it they had only one on hand. I could not pass it up. I was only going to get a slip on. I will try the 160 this weekend.

Probably not but I grew up on 2 strokes and the 400 is new to us but.....Do I need to move the needle ?
