You might lose a little power but I couldn't see much. I have a cam, pipe, and 416 kit in mine and it's fine.

Worst case just go down to the 14th front tooth. You will be fine.

By the way, I love them.

They are definitly not to heavy. The only sport tire that you might not want to run is a paddle tire with to many paddles becuase they suck horsepower. You might not be able to slide as easy because those tires are made to hook up!

I just picked up a set of HDs mounted on T9s. They don't feel too awful heavy to me.

Tell ya what, I'll weigh the HD/T9 combo and the stock tire/rim and tell you what I get.

Alright, front tires...
Stock Honda rim and ohtsu tire approx 65% tread: 17lbs
ITP Holeshot HD / ITP T9 wheel: 19 lbs

No surprise on the rear...
Stock Honda rim and ohtsu tire approx 50% tread: 19 lbs
ITP Holeshot HD / ITP T9 wheel: 27 lbs

FYI: these were weighed with a crappy bathroom scale, nothing insanely fancy.

I'd like to know the weight of brand new stock wheels and tires to more accurately compare them to the brand new Holeshots.

Roughly figure 20 extra pounds altogether.

Also take into consideration how much MORE traction the HD is going to give you vs. the stock rear tire. I'm guessing the 16 pounds of extra rubber in the back won't be noticable once you pin the throttle and let those suckers eat.

I posted up the rear tire info - 5 posts up ^^^^^

I did the fronts first because I had to replace one of the rubber caliper bushings.

So does anyone have some Stock rims with brand new Ohtsus they could weigh for me?

HDs are amazing... you'll hook up on almost any terrain and climb like a mutha... You can drop 1 tooth on the front sprocket if you feel you lost power.

I got a pretty decent deal on mine too.

Yamaha of Troy has a storefront on ebay.

I got all 4 HDs mounted on the T9s for 429.90 shipped.
