Quad Tech?!?!

the rumor ive been hearing is that Quad Tech is coming out w/ a new non-carbon fiber hood for the 450r...I was going to purchase a CF (carbon fiber) hood and now i dont want to b/c ide rather wait and get that if the rumor is true....:ermm:

yea i've seen something from quadtech that was non carbon fiber and it was a white scooped hood.. it looks sweet.. if i come across a pic of it, i'll post it in here..

Quadtech is and will be making plastic hoods. Their is a shortage of carbon fibre currently so unfourtunatly the c/f hoods will not be made untill or if c/f matt becomes consistantly availlible at a resonable price.

I keep all 3 colors in stock, they sell like crazy...

They come in red, white, and black.

I personally think the black plastic one looks better than the carbon fiber ones.

The carbon is sweet......until another rider throws roost towards it, then it gets shattered and cracked in spots.


I think the Plastic would be a little more durable....not as light or cool looking though.

i got the carbon fiber one and it looks sweet but you could not tell the difference between the carbon fiber one and the black when you are on the track, and why pay a lot more for something that looks just like the expensive one. i will get a plastic one next. I definately like it.

do you have pics? i have never seen or even heard of for that matter, of red or white options, very interested though
